यादों के गुलदस्ते मे,
मोहब्बत की तस्वीर बन गई,

वो इस.कदर हमसे बिछड़े,

कि पत्थर की लकीर बन गई,

पहले तो रूहों को भी एहसास था उनके होने का,

अब तो सिर्फ तन्हाइयाँ ही रह गई,

सोचा था कि हम मोहब्बत का मिसाल बना देंगे,

पर अब तो दिल ही मशाल बन गई,

उनकी यादों की मशाल मे जलकर,

अब तो बस कंगाल ही रह गई,

सोचा था कि ऊँचा उड़ेंगे मोहब्बत की दुनिया में,

पर पंख इस कदर तोड़ा उन्होंने,

कि उड़ने की आश ही मिट गई।
