Selfless Service

Selfless service is a good way to get rid of our own egoistic greed, it serves the others who are in need. Still there is one thing in it we have to consider carefully. Whenever we do something good for others, our own pride we may leave aside. If it interferes in it, then it is no longer a real selfless service, unconditional service – as our pride says: I have done something good… but in fact we are not the Doers, there is only One Ocean, One Doer and we are like a shadow that thinks it is moving, it is doing – but behind the shadow there is that light that moves the shadow… So it is utmost important to have a self-check on our mind, what motives it has when it is “doing” something, we even have to know our own thoughts and where they aim at – this all is called: “Man know thyself” – but how much do we know of ourselves? The biggest illusion in us is that we say: no-one else knows me better than I, myself – but thousands of automatic thoughts, unattended thoughts, habits make us not look deep enough in our own being, own mind – in such automatic thoughts and doings there is less consciousness and if we check ourselves, our words, and deeds before they are actually become alive, to their consequences ahead, then we really put consciousness into it which helps us, when we are strict with ourselves in all honesty, to lead our mind (also with the help of God) to the right direction.This subject is a huge subject, but all our good words and thoughts must indeed be put into practice.When we realize the good qualities that lives in God and step by step adopt them, make them as ours too, we also adopt His colour. This all is a long long process of inner development and there we have to weed out all our dirt, when asking God to give us the cleaning soup for it, a process to get to know ourselves while diving into ourselves.
